An option for your tour in Bavaria and Southern Germany

located in the very north east of the federal stat Bavaria is Bayreuth, a city wellknown among beer-drinkers and fans of classical music. Visiting Maisels, one of the most popular wheat beer producers, with a great brewery museum in an old 19th century plant is a highligt. The top event is the annual Wagner festival every summer, if you want to see the shows don't forget to order your tickets 10 year ahead. Besides that, Bayreuth has a charming old town, some interesting (art) museums and a beautifull sourrounding, it's the gate to "Franconian Switzerland".
